“My girl gave me some wonderful inspiring inspiration just now… she has various dolls sling that I have made for her, but lately she is so apt at carrying her “babes” she will pick up anything laying around – shirt, pants, felt “sadle” from a large toy elephant, and use them in various different ways to carry her dolls…she doesn’t let anything stop her from mothering her wee ones – if she can’t find a sling or carrier she makes one out of whatever she can find ♥ She makes me a very proud mumma ♥”

The weeks are flying by so quickly. Tomorrow summer officially arrives. The burst of inspiration we are receiving each Friday is wonderful. Keep it up!

Each week, Friday Inspiration becomes harder and harder to judge. Thank you to everyone who has been “liking” their favourite. This week, we found an entry hidden underneath our call out. This weeks post really stood out – a true life story of inspiration.

Thank you to Del Smith for sharing the link to Carly’s Story. Del wrote “Our two babies are grown now and I can’t carry them in any way (our 14 year old is 6ft tall!! LOL) and both have autism. Babies are often not “perfect” but ours give us tremendous JOY every day and we have learnt MANY MANY very important lessons from them.”. We will be in touch very soon for your details.

Friday, the last day of the work week, is the gateway to the weekend. Often we sigh in relief that the week is over and we have a weekend to recuperate and spend time as a family. We may schedule heaps of events to do over that short space of time, or perhaps decide to stay at home the entire time.

Whatever the case, Friday morning can be like the last leg of a race. You can see the finish flag ahead but you need a wee bit of a push to motivate you forward.

Welcome “Friday Inspiration”.  Every week for the remainder of the 2010 and into 2011 we will be searching for weekly inspiration with a Babywearing or parenting flavour and we are asking for your  help.

Have you come across a good YouTube video? Perhaps read an amazing quote that really caught your breath and provided some perspective? Maybe you caught a good photograph of your kidlets with your camera which you think brings a smile to your face?

Post your inspirational links, photographs (either your own personal shots or links), videos or quotes to our Facebook page from 1.00 am each Friday. We will choose our favourite on Monday evening and award a set of BabyLegs from our awesome range . We  would like you to “like” the post that you liked best to help us decide!
