Wollongong Babywearing Event

With a storm blowing in from the south, Bek Straughan – orgainser of the Wollongong Babywearing Event – embraced the “World of Possibilities’ philosophy and quickly changed the venue to Integral Energy Park in Dapto to ensure participants would not get wet. It was fantastic to hear that lots of new faces attended.

One highlight from the day was the attendance of photographer Michelle Fulcher from Inspired Images. Click over to her record of the day right here. The images are divine!

Adelaide Marsupial Babywearing Picnic

An Australiana theme was chosen for the Adelaide Babywearing Picnic with particpants spending the day as Marsupial Mamas! All the koalas wore their babes on their backs and the Kangaroos wore theirs on their fronts.

With such beautiful weather the park was rather full and it was hilarious to see the reactions of the other park dwellers. All participants had a great time promoting babywearing to their community. One member made an amazing themed cake and others brought along gum branches to play with. It was fantastic!

Perth Babywearing Event

The Perth Babywearing Event was organised in only 2 days! When Caprice found out that Perth didn’t have an event registered she pulled together a venue and went about publicing the event across a number of social media platforms.

On the day 10 babywearing mummas and a few husbands and grandmas came along. An outstanding achievement with such a short turn around and an inspiration for 2012 event organisers!
