Babes in Arms – blogging about select baby carriers and slings from around the world

The comments and insights that we receive from our fans through Facebook, Twitter and our blog, have convinced us that many of you have unique Babywearing stories to share. We feel our blog may be the perfect vehicle to communicate what you have experienced.

So, for the following 2 months over April and May, Babes in Arms is on the lookout for 4 new guest bloggers to blog about the ERGObaby carrier.  Our chosen bloggers will each receive a $100 BIA voucher to spend however they like.

For your chance to become a guest blogger, please read the criteria below and then submit an Expression of Interest (EOI)  to us at community@babesinarms.com.au or by leaving a comment here, detailing why your experiences with the ERGObaby carrier would make your post an interesting one to share with the Babes in Arms Community.  (Past posts have included information on the ERGO and: Down Syndrome, hip dysplasia, adventures in Babywearing etc)

All EOIs to be submitted by May 31, 2010.

We will reveal the winners in two parts: Winners for publication in May (obviously these will be selected from all entries received up to April 30) and Winners for publication in June (selected from all entries received prior to June 1).

EOIs should include:

• Your name and contact details (Only your first name will be used on the blog)
• The names and ages of your children (these won’t necessarily be posted on our blog. We are quite happy to use Master X and Miss Y using the initial letter of their first names)
• How you found the ERGObaby carrier and how long you have been using it
• A brief description of your unique experiences with the ERGObaby carrier and how it has made your life easier.
• What you like best about the ERGObaby carrier and why you would recommend it to other parents

If selected, you will:

• Provide a  blog post on your ERGObaby story which will be published on the BIA blog – it could be a narrative, research article, information sheet or a creative piece BUT IT MUST BE YOUR OWN WORK and relate to Babywearing and the ERGObaby carrier

OR

• Agree to a blog interview, where you will respond in writing to a number of questions around your experience which will be published on the BIA blog
• Provide images to support your story which will be published on the BIA blog (and linked to FB and Twitter). The images must be yours to share
• Understand that your post may be edited to correct spelling, grammar or layout

Babes in Arms will provide the chosen bloggers with a $100 voucher to spend at Babes in Arms at their leisure on submission of their final blog post and images. Posts will be rolled out fortnightly from the conclusion of the EOI process.

Full Terms & Conditions:

A. This activity closes at midnight May 31, 2010 (EST)
B. Each person selected to provide a blog will receive a $100 Babes in Arms voucher on submission of their final piece 

C. Winners will be chosen by Babes in Arms
D. Winners must meet ALL eligibility criteria to win
E. Winners will be notified by email that they have been selected to write a blog entry and MUST provide their final piece withing 7 days of notification and include images.
E. Only legitimate entries will be accepted.
F. Babes in Arms reserves the right to deem any entry invalid
G. This competition is only open to residents of Asia Pacific.
H. This callout is for Babes in Arms fans only. Comments that self-promote stores or products will not be accepted as eligible, and will be removed.
