Peanut Shell: How to Hip and Back Carry

This instructional video shows you how you can use the Peanut Shell sling to carry your baby in either the hip or back position.  The Hip and Back carry positions can be used as your baby grows and moves into the toddler months.

HIP TIP: When picking up baby be sure that the curved seam (where the pocket is) is centered on your baby’s back. Baby’s knees MUST be above their bum for a comfortable carry.

BACK TIP: This is a quick carry and is not intended to be used for great lengths of time. Please keep in mind, your baby may be out of sight while using this position. PLEASE use extra caution. Be aware of baby’s arms and actions at all times.
